Wetlands Restoration Area

A friend of mine and I have been visiting the Wetlands area in Boston Township quite a bit this summer. The wildflowers, insects and now the deer have reinhabited this area since it has been restored. The deer are usually in the fields early in the morning around sunrise and seem to have cautiously grown accustom to seeing us there. The bucks are a little less willing to stand around and pose for photos.

This young male buck is seen with either his mom or sister in the tall grass behind him.

These two deer would stop grazing for a second to see where I was, then continue on with there grazing.

This female was very inquisitive. My presence did not seem to be a threat to her.

I felt fortunate to capture these two bucks before they scampered into the woods.
